Interested in providing hosting for farm machines? Please read below:
We leverage external non-profit organizations (e.g. 501(c)(3) in the US) to manage our finances, which means your donations may be tax-deductible and are always used in a transparent and legitimate manner.
Your monetary donations go directly to where there is greatest need. For example:
Critical internal services (our website and management infrastructure), farm machine maintenance (hard disk replacements, memory upgrades, etc.), or even new farm machines.
In some cases, we may need to temporarily subsidize hosting costs and shipping fees for essential hardware, in the event that a hosting sponsor is no longer able to continue.
Your hardware donations (whole machines or replacement parts) are put to use where they are needed. Please contact us before attempting to donate hardware.
Software in the Public Interest (SPI) is a non-profit corporation registered in the state of New York founded to act as a fiscal sponsor for organizations that develop open source software and hardware.
Compile Farm become an SPI Associated Project in April, 2023. SPI accepts donations and holds funds, holds substantial and intangible assets, and provides legal assistance on our behalf.
